vacuumed, did wash, and watched a controlled burn! just happened to drive near the local community college and noticed they were burning their prairie preserve. i actually walked in to the completely black grass and took some pictures, until i was told to get out by a cop. i smelled like a campfire the rest of the night, but that's not even really bad either.

I watched the clouds for a second, very windy day and they were really moving and very grey. I looked at them long enough that my eyes unfocused a bit and I saw the dust and other junk on my eyes, drifting down. I remember doing that a lot as a kid on slow days, sitting by the front window and watching it move down and moving my eye so it went up again and now today I am wondering if anyone else ever does that.

I also watched the screen rate refreshing through a cell phone

weird moment in which i was listening to music and turned down the volume all the way but forgot i did and then heard birds chirping and thought it was the song i was listening to only it sounded too real so i checked the volume and found it was actually the birds outside.

Everything I was supposed to do I did by the end of the week except for one. Fix the broken windshield and after I drove all the way downtown they told me they made a mistake and didn't have the right glass so I took side streets all the way back to the suburbs and realized it's the warmest it's been in a while, like the first day of spring, after a couple days ago when we had the first rain that wasn't mixed with snow. The first time feeling warm under my clothes, realizing I have to take my jacket off for because it's too warm, i stopped by some thrift stores on the way back but I think the warmth made me feel a bit out of it to be honest.

I should have paid bills, re-upped, had car emissions tested, oil changed and sticker renewed, glass fixed and probably a lot of other things but I went grocery shopping, ordered takeout, and dicked around instead.
